DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – As bridge work in the area continues, the on-ramp from Mesaba Avenue to southbound I-35 has closed to traffic as of Monday.
That closure is expected to last through the end of September.
Meanwhile the ramp off northbound I-35 to Mesaba Avenue (Highway 194) will remain closed through August 26th.
Detours are marked and overall project work is expected to last through October.
Work at the site includes bridge rehabilitation, pavement replacement, storm sewer work and construction of a new pedestrian bridge over I-35.
