GREENWOOD TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – Several area fire departments responded to reports of a structure fire in the 1900 block of Westhaven Drive in Greenwood Township on Friday night.
Firefighters arrived to find a cabin on fire that had spread to nearby trees and was threatening some other buildings.
The cabin was a total loss and several other structures on the property were damaged.
One person was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation and four dogs were lost in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Fire Marshal.
