SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – Once again the 5th grade students in Superior Schools are getting a tour of the Wastewater Treatment Plant this week.
About 255 students will learn about water use and how the city cleans and treats the wastewater from homes, schools and businesses before it returns to Lake Superior.
Students can also view the new educational mural of the wastewater process that was painted by local artist Adam Swanson.
This is the 26th year of the elementary school tours of the plant which is also open to other residents, school groups and college classes.
