GOURD DAYS

 

While there are always new offerings on board, there will be great excitement outside near the Minnesota Slip (aka "The Little Blue Bridge") and the new harbor walk with the introduction of Gourd Days, the weekend of Friday, Oct 3 through Sunday, Oct 5 only. 

 

"To sum up Gourd Days. think of Duluth Winter Village but pumpkin spice scented. It will make the first weekend of October an excellent choice for attending the Haunted Ship if there's someone in your group who prefers the sweeter side of Fall over sinister," says Lucie Amundsen, DECC Communications Manager. "It's also traditionally the slowest weekend at the Haunted Ship, which creates a richer experience for those who walk through it."

 

Gourd Days will have a village feel, featuring vendors in cabins with a harvest theme. Organizers will have cozy fall eats, seasonal beverages, a pumpkin bouncy house, lots of shopping, and a lake twist on a classic hayride incorporating the Vista Fleet.

 

Gourd Days is free to attend and runs 10AM - 4PM Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the first weekend of October.
