HIBBING, MN (KDAL) – St. Louis County Sheriff Deputies and the Rescue Squad were called Monday evening on reports of two lost hunters south of Hibbing.
First responders near the intersection of the South Townline Road and Hingeley Road launched a drone which located the hunters about a half mile from the roadway.
ATV’s and searchers were then able to lead the two through a heavily wooded area to safety.
The 40 year old man from Duluth and a 39 year old woman from Hibbing were not injured during the incident.
