(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) – Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft is taking another step toward being ready for Week One.
The 25-year-old took part in 11-on-11 drills during yesterday’s joint practice with the Arizona Cardinals as he ramps up from the torn ACL suffered last season.
Kraft was asked how things went vs. the Cardinals Wednesday.
He said that he didn’t mind taking some shots Wednesday.
Does he have any concerns about now playing in full contact, following ACL surgery?
Kraft said that the physical joint practice is the best way to put his fears of re-injuring his knee behind him.
Kraft is entering the final year of his rookie contract and general manager Brian Gutenkunst said he’d like to have an extension done before the regular season starts.
Jacobs situation still an unknown: The Packers situation with veteran running back Josh Jacobs is still uncertain.
There have been no official announcements from the district attorney’s office after his arrest on domestic abuse charges.
The NFL front office could also decide to suspend him.
Yardbarker.com reports that losing Jacobs would be a major blow to the offense and roster-cut day is coming quickly.
General manager Brian Gutekunst could still make a move before the season opener in 17 days.
Under center: After yesterday’s joint practice with the Arizona Cardinals, Packers quarterback Jordan Love said that they got in good work in joint practice.

Love said that he has been working on his balance in the pocket. How has that been working for him?
Love was under a lot of pressure by the Cardinals. How confident is he in the offensive line?
Decision time coming: Packers coach Matt LaFleur said, after the joint practice, that some tough decisions and some obvious decisions coming with the cutdown to 53 on Sunday.
