UNDATED (KDAL) – St. Louis County first responders were called to accidents involving ATV’s on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday at 7:34 p-m deputies responded to reports of an off road vehicle rollover crash in the 8800 block of Rossini Road in Pequaywan Township.
The driver, who had no seatbelt or helmet in use, was air lifted to a hospital with suspected serious injuries.
That incident remains under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday at 8:46 p-m, a crash was reported involving a pickup truck and an ATV in Lavell Township.
A 14 year old male from California was operating the ATV behind his father when he was rear-ended by a pickup truck.
The crash overturned the ATV and ejected the juvenile. He was not wearing a helmet and was taken to a hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup observed the father pull out onto the roadway but didn’t see the 2nd ATV in time to avoid the crash.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
