COOK, MN (KDAL) – A crash between an SUV and a pick-up truck near Cook Wednesday night has sent the two drivers to hospitals.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the SUV, driven by an on-duty St. Louis County Deputy Sheriff, was hit by the pick-up that failed to stop at a stop sign.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 1 and the Samuelson Road.
The driver of the pickup was taken to a hospital in Duluth with what was described as life threatening injuries and the Sheriff’s Deputy was hospitalized in Cook with non life threatening injuries.
The State Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
