A battle between two of UFC’s top 10 lightweights has been added to UFC 329: McGregor vs. Holloway 2 as No. 5 Benoit Saint Denis will go up against No. 6 Paddy Pimblett on July 11 in Las Vegas.
Nicknamed the God of War, Saint Denis, 30, is 17-3 with six knockouts. Fighting out of Paris, Saint Denis has won four matches in a row and scored a second-round TKO over Dan Hooker during UFC 325 in February.
Pimblett, coming out of Liverpool, England, is 23-4 with seven knockouts. The 31-year-old’s latest victory, a unanimous decision over Justin Gaethje, is a candidate for Fight of the Year.
UFC 329: McGregor vs. Holloway 2 is slated for Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena. The main card will see Conor McGregor make his return to the UFC for the first time in five years.
