DULUTH, MN (CBS-3) – President Donald Trump made a campaign stop Wednesday night in Duluth.
Air Force One rolled up to the stage at Duluth International Airport around 8 p-m and the President arrived arrived to big applause from a crowd of several thousand supporters.
Trump started the rally by hitting on some usual talking points, including TV ratings, “Sleepy” Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Rep. Ilhan Omar, James Comey and refugees.
He then turned to some more local issues, touting support for Enbridge Line 3 Replacement, copper-nickel mining on the Range and some of what he says he’s already done for the region.
The President also spent time voicing support for Minnesota republicans, including Representative Pete Stauber and U.S. Senate candidate Jason Lewis who were both at the rally.
The speech lasted about an hour, before President Trump hopped back on Air Force One to head home.
As has been the case at his other rallies across the country, there was no social distancing and very little in the way of mask wearing.
