DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Voters went to the polls in Duluth Tuesday to choose the candidates in various races that will advance to the general election in November.
There were five candidates for Mayor of Duluth with Roger Reinert and incumbent Emily Larson topping the list.
Reinert collected 63 percent of the vote and Larson had just under 35 percent.
Four candidates moved on for two at-large City Council seats, current councilor Arik Forsman, Lynn Marie Nephew, Jenna Yeakle and Miranda Pacheco.
In District Four, Tara Swenson and Howie Hanson were the top vote getters.
Loren Martell and Henry Banks topped two other candidates and will match up for the School Board seat in District Three.
