EVELETH, MN (KDAL) – Multiple charges were filed against two people following a drug bust at an Eveleth residence earlier this month.
The Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force executed a search warrant and seized about a pound of methamphetamine and 170 M-30 fentanyl pills along with a digital scale and other evidence of illegal drug distribution.
Arrested without incident were 50 year old Pedro Alapisco-Ochoa of Mexico and 52 year old Rachel Lofgren of Eveleth.
An investigation showed the pair were receiving large quantities of meth in the mail from the southern U-S.
Alapisco-Ochoa is in this country illegally and is subject to deportation. Officials with the Department of Homeland Security has verified that he has been deported numerous times in the past.
