DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – In what could be the largest field ever in the 46 year history of Grandma’s Marathon, over 20,000 runners have registered for the various running events on June 17 and 18.
As of Wednesday it’s a near sellout with only 150 entries remaining in the full marathon, 20 in the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and 35 spots in the William Irvin 5K.
Grandma’s is running a full field this year after the half capacity COVID modified event last summer.
Online registrations will remain open as space allows until June 1st. There are also some virtual options available for each of the races.
