ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – Minnesota residents can fish without a license this weekend if they take someone 15 and younger along.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources “Take A Kid Fishing” event runs from Friday through Sunday.
Although no license is required, all fishing seasons and regulations must be observed.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz says fishing is one way to celebrate June as the “Great Outdoors Month” and encourages all residents to enjoy the state’s many outdoor opportunities.
