WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States may extend the deadline for bids on its aerial refueling tanker to give Europe's EADS <EADS.PA> an opportunity to consider whether to compete against Boeing <BA.N> on the project, a source familiar with Pentagon thinking said on Friday.
