(St. Paul, MN) -- Democrats could bring a one-billion-dollar bonding bill up for a vote as soon as tomorrow after refusing Tuesday night to put in more money to expand the state sex offender treatment facility in Moose Lake. Walker Republican Larry Howes asked Democrats to come more the governor's way -- and put in 60-million for Moose Lake instead of 47-million -- arguing that would save the bill from being vetoed in its entirety. Glyndon Democrat Keith Langseth responded saying Pawlenty probably wouldn't veto the whole bill, but he could line-item the dollar amount right down to his bill. Langseth said they've seen that before and there is no reason to expect any different this time. Governor Pawleny is proposing 725-million for the bonding bill versus the billion dollars in Democrats' bonding bill.
