When Duluth public schools transition to a two high school system in the 2011-2012 school year, Denfeld and East will keep their names. The Duluth School Board approved the names and mascots Tuesday night after strong urging from the "students for the future" transition team. Superintendent Keith Dixon says final decisions on other key transition items should be made in March or early April.
